changed our weather at the tern from last week to where it is now. and we'll show you what it means for us, it means a lot of rain, thunderstorms and even the potential for flooding. we saw a warning or two today. we have the bands from the south and moving to the north. they'll continue to move our way. and there's more to the south and we'll take you in on a few areas and we'll show you where we're dealing with this thousand. and a little bit in carroll county, that's making its way to the north and lighter rain at this point. that's going to change. you can see the heavier rain and that's moving to the north and we have more where that came from. we have flood warnings because of this. where we've seen the heaviest rain so far, you can see montgomery and carroll county and baltimore county and these are for say ring times through 4:50 through 4:40. this is throughout the overnight and into tomorrow. veal the forecast coming up. >>> thank you, and stay with wjz-13 for first warning weather coverage. as we mentioned, remember, wjz- 13 is always on. go to wjz.com for more at any time. >> >

welcome back. i am stan stovall. >> and i'm mindy basara. thank you for joining us this morning. let's get a check on weather and traffic. it is raining. >> it will slow things down. give yourself some extra time. keep a jacket and an umbrella with you. we will be in the 60's today. we can see moderate to heavy rain represented by the oranges and yellow. give yourself as much extra time as you can. we'll have periods of rain. there could be some breaks. high temperatures in the upper 60's and maybe do the low 70's if we are lucky. we will check the seven-day forecast coming up in just a few minutes. we will check on when things will clear up. >> we have a couple of accidents just in. eastbound 70 is a busy road. we have an accident reported past route 29. watch for delays there. westbound 100, the ramp from snowden river parkway has now been reopened. we're dealing with a new crash northbound on to 95 near 100. another spot where you could find some slow going. delays on the north side. it will be a slick start. nothing significant on the beltway. still moving pretty good on 95.

is there. firefighters tell us that it's possible that she is there, but they have to make sure that someone hasn't been trapped. >> thank you, kelly. wjz's complete coverage comets with captain mike perry who's over the scene. >> reporter: we've been watching firefighters searching diligently and feverishly for the past hours. all we are seeing is one apparatus. and they are rotating crews in and out of rehab, it's very hot down there and it's very difficult work. so it's expected according to the fire command that they are going to be here at least another two hours, that's enough for them to completely clean the scene up and determine if there is anyone indeed trapped. they have to be concerned about the wall, that one wall needs to be shored up before city crews can come in and knock it down completely so they are maintaining a safety sector around this rescue. they are concerned about their firemen. they did have pg & e doing a gas search making sure there is no gas in the area. they have determined that the scene is safe. they are continuing the rescue effort and we'll con

the watches and warnings for us is bob turk. >> we do have heavy rain in portions of the region. take a look at radar, around washington county and western fredrick county, it continues to rain out there from hancock to fredrick. they've had heavy rain in the last hour. south of the baltimore metro area and south washington from east to cambridge and across southern portions of the western shore just a few light sprinkles and showers showing up right now. but i think we do have a possibility of heavy rain later on tonight. because of that there are watches and advisories in effect. bernadette woods is live to look at the region for tonight. >> bob was describing with all of the heavy rain. with all the heavy rain we did have flood flash warnings in effect for a lot of the area. we could see more warnings posted as we head through the morning hours into tomorrow morning. coastal flood warnings in effect for all of the towns and the cities. it's tapping into even more offshore, so we're going to see rounds of heavy rain continue on and off. >> thank you very much bernadette and bob. check on t
